Why Am I Seeing the Tufts Health Plan Logo?

If you have accessed any of the documents in our Provider Resource Center, you may have noticed the Tufts Health Plan logo on many of them.

There is a reason for that.

Tufts Health Plan Commercial documents—including prior authorization documents, payment policies, medical necessity guidelines, and our provider manual—are applicable to Commercial contracted providers who render services to Tufts Health Freedom Plan members.

If you find yourself on tuftshealthplan.com for any reason after viewing a document, simply go back to the Provider section of this (the Tufts Health Freedom Plan) site.

I want to register/log in to the secure Provider website, but I am seeing the Tufts Health Plan logo there too. Am I in the right place?

Yes, the Tufts Health Plan secure Provider website is the right place to register or log in to view patient claims and eligibility, submit referrals, and much, much more.

A Tufts Health Plan member wants to see me. Can I provide services to them?

Yes. Due to our expansion and new membership, New Hampshire providers and their staff may begin to see both Tufts Health Freedom Plan members and Tufts Health Plan Commercial members.

Tufts Health Freedom Plan members will have a Tufts Health Freedom Plan member ID card (below left), and Tufts Health Plan Commercial members will have a Tufts Health Plan member ID card (right):

How can I join the Tufts Health Plan provider network?

Tufts Health Plan is currently expanding its provider network in the New Hampshire area and is actively working to enroll providers. As our network expands, Tufts Health Plan will continue to deliver consistent quality service and support to new and existing providers.
